Halloween Trail

From 10th October to 1st November, the ancient woods of Rufford Abbey Country Park will be transformed into a haunted playground for brave explorers of all ages. Venture along the eerie forest trails, where twisting paths and shadowy corners hold plenty of spooky surprises. To get into the spirit, we invite little ghouls and goblins—and four-legged friends—to dress up in their spookiest costumes! Dogs are very welcome on the trail and are encouraged to dress up, too.

Trail sheets are £3 per child. You can buy yours at the Courtyard Gift Shop before setting off, or purchase online in advance. If you book online, simply bring your QR code for each trail to collect your trail sheet and prize on the day. Children can carry their reward with them as they tackle the ghoulish challenges ahead. It’s the perfect mix of fun, frights, and fresh autumn air.

Important Information

• Trail Sheets: You only need to purchase a trail sheet for children who want to fill it in and receive a prize.

• Accompanying Guests: Anyone not filling in a trail sheet or receiving a prize does not need to pay and is welcome to accompany those exploring the trail.

• Dog Friendly: Dogs on leads are welcome to join the Halloween fun.
