Step inside the restored, Grade I listed, Abbey Kitchen for an afternoon of accessible luxury. Nestled within the historic vaulted stone rooms of the Jacobean wing of Rufford Abbey, our boutique Tea House opens its doors exclusively from Friday to Sunday each week to serve classic, locally sourced Afternoon Tea with polished table service.

Essential Booking Information

• Exclusive Seating Sessions: To preserve the tranquil atmosphere of our Grade I listed setting, The Abbey Kitchen operates strictly on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
• 100% Pre-Booked: We do not accept walk-in table dining in the main historic room. All tables must be reserved and paid for in advance to guarantee the freshness of our produce.
• Dietary Requirements: We happily cater to vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets. Please state any dietary requirements or allergies in the notes section when completing your booking.
• Parking: Parking charges are included with your booking. Do not pay for parking upon arrival as we are unable to refund you. Please enter your vehicle registration number when checking in for your booking at the restaurant.
