The Abbey Car Park is located near to the main centre of the park, offering easy access to our courtyard, gardens, play area, Abbey Tales experience and catering facilities.

From 15 April 2024, please note that our daily car park fee will be rising to £6 per day, following a review with Nottinghamshire County Council. This is the first rise in two years and is a reflection of the continuing inflationary pressure on running costs.
The Mill Car Park is located next to Rufford Lake and has access to the woodland and lake walk. You will also have access to our Boating Lake and a number of catering facilities located in the Mill Courtyard.
Rufford is very popular during school holidays and weekends, so we would highly recommend arriving early to avoid waiting for parking spaces.
Please note we do have limited car park capacity so there may be occasions that the car park is closed. We always endeavour to reopen as soon as spaces become available. Peak hours are between 11.30am – 2pm, and we would advise arriving early to enjoy a full day at the park!
