The Mystery: The Mason Banks Codicil

You are cordially invited to attend the wake of the late Mason Banks. The unlamented bar owner has finally passed, and solicitor Rodney Maple-Mellor has gathered his friends and family for the formal reading of the last will and testament.

But as the evening unfolds, it becomes clear that Mason’s legacy is built on a foundation of secrets and spite. Who stands to benefit from the unexpected codicil to the will? Will it be his disgraced son, Clinton? And why is Tommy Ackerson – a known arsonist – loitering among the mourners?

The Banks family is no stranger to tragedy; it has been only six months since Mason’s wife, Chloe, was found drowned in a reservoir. While many hoped her death would be the end of the family’s misfortunes, the worst is yet to come. A crucial piece of evidence held by Mason’s cleaner is about to turn the case on its head, and by the time coffee is served, another body may be added to the family plot.

The Event

This experience is totally interactive. While you aren’t required to role-play, professional actors will bring the mystery to life around your table. You are encouraged to eavesdrop on conversations, follow the suspects, and question them directly as they mingle throughout the room.

Throughout the evening, an intriguing array of evidence will be displayed, turning your dining space into a major incident room. You’ll have the chance to study the clues between courses to help unmask the killer before the final curtain falls.
