This summer, grab your pencils and lace up your walking shoes! Join us for a brand new outdoor quest through our beautiful gardens. It’s the perfect summer activity for curious minds and mini-explorers.
Wander along the trail to discover 8 stops hidden among the summer blooms. From practising your best frog leaps and bee waggle dances to sniffing fresh herbs, there is plenty to keep the whole family moving and laughing!

What to Expect
- Secret Letters: Every trail board holds a hidden mystery letter. Can you track them all down, write them on your sheet, and unscramble them to crack the secret summer word?
- The Great Sunshine Hunt: Keep your eyes peeled between stops! There are mischievous little sunshines hidden along the paths for you to spot and tick off.
- Hands-on Challenges: Put your detective skills to the test with fun pencil puzzles, nature matching games, and mini-beast hunts.
Tickets & Collection
Every trail sheet includes an explorer prize, which is handed out at the start of your adventure so you can enjoy it as you explore! You can get yours in one of two ways:
- Book Online: Purchase in advance online, then pop into the Courtyard Gift Shop when you arrive to collect your trail sheet and prize.
- Buy on the Day: Purchase directly from the Courtyard Gift Shop during your visit.
Note: Only children taking part in the trail to complete the puzzles and collect a prize need a ticket. Accompanying adults and siblings just tagging along for the walk are welcome to join in the fun for free!
