The Mystery: A “Checking Out” Party

Meet Silvia and Reuben Stone, the ambitious new managers of a nearby hotel, as they host a night intended to put their new business on the map. They and their key staff are mingling among you, desperate for the evening to be a success.

But beneath the polished surface, tensions are boiling. Why is journalist Kirsty O’Connor, hired to write a glowing feature on the Stones, so incredibly bitter? And why is their son—who recently narrowly escaped drowning—being kept hidden away from view? As family and friends strive to maintain appearances, several harbour deep-seated hatred and suspicion. Before the night is through, one thing is certain: someone will be checking out… in a body bag.

The Event

This experience is totally interactive. While you aren’t required to role-play, professional actors will bring the mystery to life around your table. You are encouraged to eavesdrop on conversations, follow the suspects, and question them directly.

Throughout the evening, an intriguing array of evidence will be displayed throughout the room, turning your dining space into a major incident room. You’ll have the chance to study the clues between courses to help unmask the killer.
